TOP K-CUP COFFEE PICKS

When I cook using a recipe, the finished meal will taste different every time – guaranteed.

That’s why I love drinking coffee from K-Cups. Every single cup is as delicious as the last one. Nothing changes.

My TBI Guy and I have different palates for coffee. He likes a bold, strong flavor. I prefer mine to ease me into the day and keep me there.

I don’t claim to be a Coffee Connoisseur, Coffee Snob, or Coffee Expert. I just know what we like! This why we have these top K-Cup coffee picks.

As far as buying K-Cups, I’ve tried the online subscription services selling their own brands where I used to work. There wasn’t one that compared to Green Mountain or McCafe, and after a month I began bringing K-Cups from home to drink at work.

Amazon Echo Dot

Echo Dot is a hands-free, voice-controlled device with a small built-in speaker—it can also connect to your speakers or headphones over Bluetooth or through a 3.5 mm audio cable to deliver stereo sound to the speakers you choose. Dot connects to the Alexa Voice Service to play music, make calls, send and receive messages, provide information, news, sports scores, weather, and more—instantly.

Echo Dot can hear you from across the room, even while music is playing. When you want to use Echo Dot, just say the wake word “Alexa” and Dot responds instantly. If you have more than one Echo or Echo Dot, Alexa responds intelligently from the Echo you’re closest to with ESP (Echo Spatial Perception). Learn more about ESP

In addition, certain elements will be centered on mobile devices and tablets and aligned to the left or right on a desktop display. You can adjust the layout for each Block at three different device widths – desktop, tablet, and mobile.

Sleek and compact design makes Echo Dot a convenient addition to any room in the house. With its built-in speaker, you can place Dot in the bedroom and use it as a smart alarm clock that can also turn off your lights. Or use Dot in the kitchen to easily set timers and shop tens of millions of Amazon products using just your voice.

Echo Dot can also directly connect to speakers using a 3.5 mm stereo cable, Bluetooth, or Wi-Fi for compatible wireless speakers to add voice control to your home stereo system in the living room or den. Learn more about Bluetooth speakers and devices that work well with Echo Dot. With multi-room music support and connected speakers via cable, you can play music across multiple Echo devices (Bluetooth not supported for multi-room music). Learn more

For example, you can ask someone for help with a chore, or remind the kids to go to sleep—without having to raise your voice. With Alexa Announcements you can also use Echo Dot to broadcast a quick, one-way message to all other Echo devices in your home.

Making calls with Alexa is easy. Your contacts will see your number when they receive the call so they know who is calling. Set up your voice profile and teach Alexa to recognize your voice. When you say, “Alexa, call Mom”, Alexa will call your mom, even if you have multiple users in your home. Additionally, you can send messages via voice or text to anyone with a supported Echo device or the Alexa App. Learn more

When you want to use Echo Dot, simply say the wake word, “Alexa,” and Dot lights up and streams audio to the cloud, where the Alexa Voice Service is leveraged to recognize and respond to your request instantly. Learn more about voice recognition on Echo Dot.

To enable new skills, just ask Alexa.

Should Technology Slow Down?

Once upon a time, starting around 1993, a new industry was beginning to form. It was called the “Internet”, and it was as mysterious as everything we learned about the Catholic faith in the third grade.

The Internet spawned “Technology”. Since 1993, the race is on for the smallest, fastest, multipurpose gadget known to mankind.

I took a five year sabbatical from Technology because I had real life issues to deal with. I was no longer the first kid on the block to have the latest shiny piece of technology, which to those who know me probably thought I’d lost my edge. Well, I did sort of. I learned to enjoy all the toys and gadgets I’d accumulated over the past seven years. Some needed upgraded, and now I have the time to play again!
